Commuter Connections - New Haven

The Commuter Connection is a special commuter shuttle bus service that provides access to locations that are not within walking distance of the New Haven’s State Street Station and Union Station.

In the morning, Commuter Connection buses wait in front of State Street Station. A few minutes after each train arrives, the buses depart and loop through downtown New Haven.

In the evening, buses begin their loop through downtown New Haven approximately 20 minutes before Shore Line East departure times. Passengers arrive at Union Station approximately 5 minutes before SLE departures. If a shuttle bus arrives at Union Station late, the SLE train will wait.
