A Guaranteed Ride means exactly what it says. If you need a ride from work because of an emergency illness, family crisis, or having to work late unexpectedly you'll get home, or wherever you need to go. The best news is, it's free!
The Guaranteed Ride Program is open to Shore Line East monthly ticket holders. So stop worrying and enjoy the ride!
Here's how to get your free Guaranteed Ride:
1. Call 1-800-ALL-RIDE (1-800-255-7433) Monday through Friday between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m.
2. Tell the representative the serial number and type of your monthly train ticket.
3. A taxi will take you to your destination. Your fare, plus a gratuity, will be paid at no cost for you.
Guidelines
The Shore Line East Guaranteed Ride Program is open to Shore Line East monthly ticket holders.
Rides are available only on days when Shore Line East trains are scheduled to operate.
To arrange for a ride, you must call 1-800-ALL-RIDE between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
The program is not available on Saturdays, Sundays, New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.
All passengers continuing west of New Haven via the New Haven Line must take a New Haven Line train back to New Haven (when available) to meet their ride from Union Station.
Eligible commuters are entitled to four (4) rides per calendar year under this program.
Your satisfaction is important to us. Within seven days after you receive your ride, you'll be asked to complete a brief survey asking your opinion on how well the program met your needs.
